New landlord onboarding: sign-up to first rent charge

  1. Sign up and choose 'Landlord or agency' so you land on the landlord dashboard.
  2. Create your organization: business or portfolio name, city and province. This is your workspace and starts your 7-day free trial.
  3. Add your first property under Properties (name, type and address), then add each unit with its bedrooms, monthly rent and deposit.
  4. Add tenants under Tenants with their full name, real email address and phone. Send the invite so the tenant can activate their own portal login.
  5. Create a lease under Leases linking the tenant to a unit: start date, end date (leave blank for month-to-month), monthly rent, deposit, due day and grace days.
  6. Open Contracts, pick or edit a lease template with {{placeholders}}, choose the lease, check the live preview, then click Issue contract so the tenant can read and sign it in their portal.
  7. Rent charges are generated automatically each month from the lease, and reminders go out 7, 3 and 1 days before the due date. To bill something extra or start early, add a charge from the lease or record a manual payment under Payments.
  8. Complete Settings → Payout account and Payment provider so tenant rent can settle into your bank account, then watch the dashboard for paid, pending and overdue charges.

Set up your portfolio in 10 minutes

  1. Create your organization with your business or portfolio name, city and province.
  2. Add a property under Properties, then add each unit with its monthly rent.
  3. Add your tenants under Tenants with their real email addresses.
  4. Create a lease linking the tenant to a unit, with the start date, rent and due day.
  5. Check the dashboard — your first rent charge and reminders are now scheduled.

Get paid: payout account and Paystack

  1. Open Settings and complete the Payout account card, then click Verify and save.
  2. In the Payment provider card, save your Paystack secret key and webhook secret.
  3. Copy the webhook URL shown there into your Paystack dashboard under API Keys & Webhooks.
  4. Switch from test to live keys when you are ready to collect real rent.
  5. Send a tenant their first charge and confirm it shows as successful in Payments.

Issue a lease contract for signature

  1. Open Contracts and upload or edit your lease template using {{placeholders}}.
  2. Click Generate, pick the lease, and watch the live preview fill in rent and dates.
  3. Fix any placeholder that is still unfilled, then click Issue contract.
  4. The tenant is notified and signs in their portal.
  5. Download the signed PDF from the contract row once it is signed.

Use the AI Copilot every month

5 min
  1. Open AI Copilot and run the arrears analysis at the start of the month.
  2. Copy the drafted message for any high-risk tenant and send it.
  3. Ask the portfolio questions like 'What is my arrears exposure?'.
  4. Paste any new lease or quote into Documents for a risk review before you sign.
